Display Garden Finder
This application was created to provide
a visual view of where American Hemerocallis Society Daylily Display Gardens
including Historic ones may be found.
Those locations
listed above shown in blue are the only locations with identified AHS Daylily
Display Gardens
at this time.
It is used as follows:
1. Select the
State from the listing above and you will be presented with a new web page that
displays a map with markers in various locations. Historic Gardens are
shown with a red marker and Display Gardens are shown using a blue
marker.
2. The map may take a few
moments to load so please remain patient
while it is populated with the sources within the selected state.
3. As the map loads, you will
see the Magnifier/Pan tool cycling in the upper right corner of the map. When the map is done loading
the cycling stops and the color changes from black to green,
you will see a blue or red marker for each Display Garden located at the address
listed below. Clicking the marker will cause
it to expand, revealing the Owners Name and Telephone number.
4. You can pan the map by left clicking
anywhere on the map and holding
the left mouse key down and then moving the mouse. Letting go will relocate the map.
It may take a moment to relocate the markers.
5. You can zoom the map in/out by selecting
the slider control (+/-). It takes time to refresh the map after
zooming. Zooming may be necessary if markers are too close to select.
6. You can also change the map type by
clicking either of the Map, Hybrid, or Satellite selectors located in the upper left
corner of the map.
7. Located below
the map is a list of all the Daylily Sources found, each has a number that
corresponds to the marker on the map.
Finally,
If
you are a source and your site is not shown, you know of an inaccurate
marker location, or know of incorrect data in the listing and are so inclined,
email me
with as much correct information as you know. The data items
required to accurately list a source are: Business Name/Garden Name, Owner Name, Street Address of Visit Location, City, State/Province/Country,
Postal Code, Telephone, and email address.
Here's hoping you enjoy this new function!
Regards,
Dale O'Bar
